As we continue to celebrate the incredible accomplishments of our junior and senior swimmers this season, we want to congratulate all of our Junior National and Sectional competitors. 15 OSSC swimmers qualified for NCSA Junior Nationals this season. 12 of those swimmers will compete in 66 individual events and nine relays this week in Orlando. Congratulations to the 73 OSSC swimmers who qualified for the 2014 Short Course Junior Olympics (14 & Under State Championships), which will be held at Ohio State this weekend! We have 63 individual qualifiers and 10 relay-only swimmers (73 total) at JOs this year. Last year we had 48 individuals and 12 relay-only swimmers for 60 total. Much more importantly, we have 313 individual swims and 54 relays, compared to 228 individual swims and 43 relays last year. That is 85 more individual swims and 11 more relays than last...

Congratulations to our 2014 OHSAA State Championships swimmers! The OSSC had 27 swimmers compete in Canton. Mason Miller won the D1 state championship in the 100 butterfly. He also finished 3rd in the 100 free. Rachel Politi was D2 state runner-up in the 100 fly and 200 free relay. KayLee Witkiewicz, Abby Wiet, and Rina Laios were D1 state runner-up in the 200 medley relay (these girls all trained with their HS coach, Jim Callahan, during the HS season). There is no fee involved, but we require a completed Release form in order for guests to practice with us.
