The first of three championship meets concluded yesterday at KCAC.  Lots of exciting swims with the new Spring Showdown meet.  We had a lot of swimmers that got to experience second swim opportunities after their preliminary races during the meet.  We also had a couple of swimmers who picked up their first regional cuts during the meet as this was the last chance to qualify for Regionals in two weeks.  There were 170 best times, 1 new silver time, 18 new gold times, 5 new NW Age Group Regional swims...

Great job at the 10&U Pentathlon last weekend.  We can tell the end of the short course season is fast approaching as we had 68 best times, 12 first time swims, 12 new silver times and 8 new gold times. 5 Sockeyes brought home trophies for placing in the top 6 of their age group. As we get closer to the end of the short course season we have quite a few prelim/final meets coming up for our 11&O athletes.  The February Divisional was the start of 4 prelim/final meets are team will be participating in over the next month.  We continue to see great improvement from our athletes. We had 71 athletes make it back to finals in the evening, 43 who swam in the B final and 48 athletes who swam in the A Final.  18 athletes took 1st place in their age...
