The Fall Divisional meet finished with a lot of great swims from everyone that participated at the meet.  The number of best times and time standard improvements definitely shows the hard work athletes have put in over the last 3 months has come to fruition.  There were 311 best times, 49 first time swims, 47 new silver times, 41 new gold times, 16 new 14&U Champ times, 3 new Sr State Champ times and 1 new Regional time. The Age Group Invite was such a great meet to watch last weekend.  Lots and lots of big swims from so many different athletes over the weekend.  There were 27 first time swims and 350 best times from 110 different athletes, 5 new silver times, 49 new gold times, 46 new 14&U Champ swims, 22 new Sr State Champ swims, 22 new Age Group Regional swims, 4 new Age Group Zone swims, and 3 new Sr Sectional swims.  Great job swimmers and good luck over the next three weekends of...

We brought home a lot of hardware from the meet. Issaquah Swim Team is a member of USA Swimming and we are part of the Pacific Northwest (PN) Local Swim Committee (LSC).  The LSC determines the type of meets that will be held on specific weekends.  Teams bid to host meets throughout the year based upon the meet schedule that is published from our LSC.  Once all of the meets are bid on a master meet schedule is posted.  The coaching staff will then determine which meets our athletes will attend throughout the Short Course and Long Course seasons.  Our...

The Sockeye Sprints kicked our season off with a bang.  We hope the swimmers had as much fun as the coaches did getting to watch our swimmers compete against one another. Congratulations to Christina Bradley, Christopher Harig, Marius Rakickas and Albert Weng for competing at the Western Zone 14&U Age Group Championship meet in Maui last week.  Coach John was the trip manager for the team while in Maui.
