The Apple Capital meet last weekend was definitely one of the hottest meets we’ve attended in some time.  Lots of sunburns to go with the many best times the athletes achieved over the course of the weekend.  There was also a pretty epic water fight that occurred on Sunday night after the meet.  We hope you all enjoyed the fun in the sun.  Keep up the good work as we start to go into the second half of the long course season in our drive towards the end of July. ...

Sockeyes you guys had such a great regional meet with so many great performances at the meet by the team.  Our swimmers stepped up to the challenge of racing the best swimmers in the Northwest Region for 4 days of competition.  Issaquah brought 39 athletes to the meet in which there were 1400 athletes from 7 different LSC’s which include Alaska, Hawaii, Pacific Northwest, Oregon, Inland Empire, Montana and Snake River.  Issaquah Swim Team finished in 5th place out of 130 teams that were present at the meet.  There were...

In true style the March Madness meet following the other more well-known basketball tournament was very exciting for the coaches as well as the swimmers.  There were 369 best times, 70 first time swims, 52 new silver times, 46 new gold times, 10 new regional times and 1 new western zone time.  With only two more meets left in the short course it’s definitely coming to an exciting end of the short course season.  We’re already starting to look forward to the long course season.  Great jobs Sockeyes.
