The first meet of the season was exciting to see everybody swim and in some cases there first time swimming in a meet. Lots and lots of best times were swum at the meet. We had 512 best times, 232 first time swims, 119 new silver times, 132 new gold times, 10 new 14&U qualifying swims and 13 new Sr State Champ swims. The 14&U Championship meet marked the last competition of the season for the age group swimmers on our team. The Sr PNS Champs was the final swim meet of the season for our senior athletes not traveling to Futures in California in August. The Sockeyes finished in 3rd place in the team totals. Age Group Seattle Open marked the final meet to try and qualify for the upcoming 14&U Long Course Championship meet. We still continue to get faster as the season progresses and is coming to an end.
