Our coaching staff learned yesterday that Ben Gore a former Sockeye swimmer presumably lost his life in a glissading accident on Aasgard Pass in Chelan County over the weekend.  He was a member of the Issaquah Swim Team from 2006-2009 and still holds several IST records.  Ben moved to Mercer Island and continued to swim with Olympic Cascade Aquatics.  He was a 2016 graduate of Mercer Island High School and had recently switched to the Central Area Aquatics Team last fall.  Ben has been an active member of USA Swimming...
