Club Policies
Medical Suspension Policy:
Swimmers with a medical exemption from practice for a month or longer (i.e. the swimmer cannot participate in both wet and dry activities for a month or longer) are eligible to request a suspension of dues for that period.
Temporary Suspension Policy:
Swimmers may take one break from the team per registration year (September through August) without incurring reinstatement fees.
Permanent Suspension Policy:
To terminate a swimmers account with the Brookings Swim Club.
BSC Swimmer Disciplinary Behavior Plan:
Brookings Swim Club has an expectation to uphold positive athlete and team behavior. All BSC athletes are expected to follow the rules and guidelines of the BSC Swimmer Code of Conduct at all practices, meets, other team coordinated events. Failure to do so, may result in disciplinary action.

BSC Anti-Bullying Policy:
Brookings Swim Club does not tolerate bullying in any form. All swimmers and parents commit to standing up against bullying at the time of registration. Board Members and Coaches are required to complete Safety training to help identify and look for signs of bullying and how to address.
BSC Policy for Reporting Misconduct:
Brookings Swim Club follows USA Swimming policy (Article #306) on reporting sexual misconduct. Board Members and Coaches are required to complete Safety training to help identify and look for signs of bullying and how to address.
