Equipment Needed For HSA Swim Groups
All swimmers are required to have an HSA Team Suit, which is made by TYR. The Team suit is a navy blue TYR Lycra or DuraFast Elite suit. Females can choose between a thin strap or thick strap, and males can choose between a jammer or brief. In addition each group has certain practice equipment that it requires swimmers to have. This equipment can be purchased at either of HSA's preferred vendor First Place Athletics.
Intro Group: TYR Jr. kick board, goggles, practice suit, team caps for swimmers with long hair
White Group: TYR Jr. kick board, TYR fins, goggles, practice suit
Red Group 1: TYR Jr. kick board, TYR Fins, goggles, practice suit, TYR Jr., TYR Jr. size pull buoy and athletic shoes
Red 2: TYR Jr. kick board, TYR Fins, goggles, practice suit, TYR Jr., and athletic shoes
Blue Group: Fins, TYR Jr. kick board, goggles, practice suit, nose clip, TYR , TYR Jr. size pull buoy, TYR paddles, speed jump rope, mesh bag, swim stick, Cross training/running shoes
Junior Development 1: TYR Fins, TYR kick board(small board - no full size boards), goggles, practice suit, TYR snorkel, TYR Jr. size pull buoy, TYR hand paddles, speed jump rope, mesh bag, Cross training/running shoes
Junior Development 2: TYR Fins, TYR kick board(small board - no full size boards), goggles, practice suit, TYR snorkel, TYR Jr. size pull buoy, TYR hand paddles, speed jump rope, mesh bag, Cross training/running shoes
Senior Development: TYR Fins, TYR kick board(small board - no full size boards), goggles, practice suit, TYR snorkel, TYR Jr. size pull buoy, TYR hand paddles, speed jump rope, mesh bag, Cross training/running shoes
Junior/Senior: TYR Fins, goggles, practice suit, TYR snorkel, pull buoy, TYR paddles, and athletic shoes (two pairs: one pair for running, basic dry exercises, etc., and one pair for wearing in the pool)
