Steel City Aquatics is a multi-site organization that provides world-class opportunities for our athletes. We are members of Allegheny Mountain Swimming, located in Western PA, and a member of USA Swimming, the national governing body for competitive swimming in the United States.

Our mission is to provide superior coaching that emphasizes the development of character and excellence in our athletes.  

We are recognized and respected for the accomplishments and sportsmanship of our athletes and our commitment to the sport of swimming. We inspire our families to have a life-long love of swimming and lasting friendships.

The team is comprised of six different training groups and four different training locations.  Our primary site locations are located at Moon Area High School Natatorium, located in Moon Township, PA, the South Fayette Middle School Natatorium located in McDonald, PA, and our newly partnered Montour Site located at Montour High School Pool in Mckees Rocks, PA.  We also have an additional training pool where groups may practice at Settlers Cabin Wave Pool.  

Our competitive swim team operates on a 12-month basis, with short breaks between seasons, and the opportunity of registering for either seasonal or annual membership. The summer (Long Course) season starts in early April and extends through early-August, while the winter season (Short Course) runs from September through late March or early April. 

We have a commitment to support our communities with expertise in the competitive sport of swimming as well as other aquatics programs, including: Diving, Learn 2 Swim, Masters (18 and older) Swim Team, and Lifeguarding Classes.
