We are very excited about the 2025-2026 season.
A USA Swimming Competitive Team that is structured to support swimmers at every stage of their athletic journey. From developing foundational technique to excelling at the highest levels of competition, each training division is thoughtfully designed to match age, ability, experience, and commitment.
Swimmers are placed in divisions that foster appropriate challenges, promote steady progress, and emphasize teamwork, discipline, and a love for the sport. Whether you're just entering the competitive scene or aiming for championships, our tiered structure ensures the right environment for every athlete to thrive.
Training Locations
- Steel City Aquatics is home to 5 training facilities in the Pittsburgh area.
Competitive Locations
- Steel City Aquatics Swim Team competes at local, regional, and national levels.
- Local competitions are considered any meet in the surrrounding Pittsburgh area.
- Regional competitions are considered travel meets outside of the Pittsburgh area.
- National-level competitions are considered elite meets and held around the country.
Seasons (exact dates provided prior to the season)
- Our competitive swim team operates on a 12-month basis, with short breaks between seasons.
- Annual: September through July
- Short Course Season: September through March
- Long Course Season: April through July
