Coach Jihan is the Program Director for Dolphin Swims SwimAmerica Program.  She grew up swimming in New Jersey. She culminated her career at the University of Rhode Island on a swimming scholarship. Coach Jihan has been working with swimmers for over 25 years.  When she is not in the pool, Coach Jihan is working to spread her love of swimming by serving as the Virginia Swimming Disability/Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Chair and on the SwimAmerica Advisory Council.   When Coach Jihan is not at the pool she is spending time with her husband or running her kids to and from swimming and dance.  

Danyelle Travis

Coach Danyelle serves as the head site supervisor for Dolphin Swims SwimAmerica Program.  She grew up swimming with CGBD and PAST in the Newport News and Hampton area.  Coach Danyelle has been working with swimmers for over 25 years.  When she’s not in the pool she serves on the  Virginia Swimming Disability/Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Board trying to make swimming accessible for all.  Coach Danyelle is a high school English teacher who loves reading anything having to do with the beach.  She currently lives in Newport News, Virginia.  

Sarah Conyers

Coach Sarah is a site supervisor with the Dolphin Swims SwimAmerica Program. Coach Sarah has been teaching lessons for many years. Swimming has been a big part of Coach Sarah’s life. When she is not teaching lessons, she likes to spend time with her son and daughter. She also enjoys baking bread and playing video games. She loves being a swim instructor because drowning is a leading cause of death in children and she is passionate about helping prevent drownings.

Ben Zasmowich

Site Supervisor

Coach Ben is a site supervisor for Dolphin Swims SwimAmerica Program. Coach Ben is a firefighter/EMT for Yorktown/James City County. He has been teaching swimming for over 10 years.  Coach Ben loves surfing and spending time on the beach.  

Brittany Zierow

Coach Brittany is an instructor with the Dolphin Swims SwimAmerica Program. Coach Brittany has taught swim lessons for over 10 years. She  loves to see the progress swimmers make from lesson to lesson and be a part of  their growth. When Coach Brittany is not at the pool she is spending time with her husband and two  children enjoying a beautiful sunset.

Brynne Jones

Coach Brynne is an instructor with the Dolphin Swims SwimAmerica Program. She appreciates the learning differences with each swimmer and enjoys helping them swim better each lesson.  When she is not at the pool you can find her studying to be an athletic trainer. Coach Brynn is she is a huge fan of Marvel. #TeamCap

Hannah Bunting

Instructor

Coach Hannah is an instructor with the Dolphin Swims SwimAmerica Program. Coach Hannah has been teaching swim lessons for several years. She is passionate about sharing her love of swimming while swimmers are young.  When Coach Hannah is not in  the pool swimming or teaching she enjoys  playing Field Hockey and even has a Black belt in Taekwondo.

Stephanie Creelman

Instructor

Coach Stephanie is an instructor with the Dolphin Swims SwimAmerica Program.  Coach Stephanie has been teaching lessons for a couple of years. Her favorite moment in a lesson is when she sees a student succeed with a skill they have been practicing.  When Coach Stephanie is not in the pool teaching she can be found at home with her family in the Yorktown area.  

Jennifer Amick

Instructor

Coach Jennifer is an instructor with the Dolphin Swims SwimAmerica Program. Coach Jennifer has been a swim instructor for several years and has coached diving in the past. She loves to see young swimmers gain confidence and enjoy the water. When Coach Jennifer is not at the pool you can find her caring for the feral cat community. She helps trap, neuter, and return the cats in the City of Hampton.  She lives in Hampton with her family.

Megan Turner

Instructor

Coach Megan is an instructor with the Dolphin Swims SwimAmerica Program. Coach Megan enjoys teaching swim lessons. She loves seeing the progression swimmers make through the program and the pure happiness on the swimmer’s face when they master a new skill. Something you may not know about Coach Megan is she is the youngest but tallest of 3 girls in her family. 

Toni Henneforth

Instructor

Coach Toni is an instructor with the Dolphin Swims SwimAmerica Program. Coach Toni loves to swim and has taught swim lessons for over 20 years. She really likes to see the swimmer learn and excel at the sport. When she is not at the pool you can find her in a gym playing pickleball. 

Raymond Henneforth

Instructor

Coach Raymond is an instructor with the Dolphin Swims SwimAmerica Program. Coach Raymond has been teaching swim lessons for several years.  He enjoys seeing swimmers progress with each learned skill. When Coach Raymond is not at the pool you can find him editing videos or maybe even playing guitar.  

Bridget McMullen

Coach Bridget is a site supervisor with the Dolphin Swims SwimAmerica Program. Coach Bridget is a retired Air Force Audiologist. She  has been teaching swim lessons for over 30 years. When she is not teaching lessons you can still find her at a pool swimming with the CGBD Masters group  or you might catch her at home baking bread. 

Kaelyn Thackeray

Coach Kaelyn is an instructor for the Dolphin Swims SwimAmerica Program.  Coach Kaelyn has been teaching swim lessons for several years.  She enjoys interacting with the children and seeing them master new skills while developing a love for the water.  When Coach Kaelyn is not at the pool you can find her spending time with her niece and nephew.
