DOLPHIN LEVEL (Elementary School Age)
DolphinSwims: CGBD Learn-to-Swim program
Dolphin Bridge: Flex USA-S membership
- Practice: Prime: 3 @ 45 min
- Must pass DolphinSwims Level 7
- Meets: Compete in 2 developmental meets.
Dolphin Competitive: Premium USA-S membership
- Practice: Prime: 3 @ 1 hour
- Must be able to swim all IMR events
- Meets: compete at a meet once every other month & attend championship meet at the end of each season
Dolphin Challenge: USA-S Premium membership
- Practices: Prime: 4 @ 1:15 Core: 4 @ :15
- Must have completed all 10 year old IMX events in a meet
- Must have an IMX score of 640 (4 best events calculated as a 9 year old)
- Meets: compete on regular basis once a month & attend championship meet at end of each season
Dolphin Elite: USA-S Premium membership
- Practices: Prime: 4-5 @ 1:30 Dryland 1 @ :30 Core 3@ :15
- Must have an IMX score of 1200 (4 best events calculated as a 10 year old)
- Meet: compete on regular basis once a month & attend highest level championship meet qualified to swim.
- Goal to compete in out of LSC championship meet
SEAHAWK LEVEL (Middle School Age)
Seahawk Bridge: USA-S Flex membership
- Practices: Prime: 3 @ 1:00
- Must swim 50 yards Freestyle and 25 yards Backstroke
- Must be familiar with breaststroke and butterfly
- Meets: Compete in 2 developmental meets. 4 opportunities per year •
Seahawk Competitive: USA-S Premium membership
- Practices: Prime: 4 @ 1:30 Core 3 @ :15
- Must be able to swim all IMR events
- Meets: compete at a meet once every other month & attend championship meet at the end of each season
Seahawk Challenge: USA-S Premium membership
- Practices: Prime: 5 @ 1:45 Dryland 2 @ :30 Core: 2 @ :15
- Must have swum all 11-12 IMX events in a meet
- Must have an IMX score of 800 (4 best events calculated as a 12 year old)
- Dolphin Elite swimmers that have met all the requirements and turn 11 before summer awards are eligible for this group for long course season.
- Meets: compete on regular basis once a month & attend championship meet at end of each season
Seahawk Elite: USA-S Premium membership
- Practices: Prime: 6 @ 2:00 Dryland 2 @ :45 Core 2 @ :15
- Must have swum all 13-14 IMX events in a meet
- Must have an IMX score of 1600 (4 best events 13-14 IMX events calculated as a 12 year old)
- Meet: compete on regular basis once a month & attend highest level championship meet qualified to swim.
- Goal to compete in out of LSC championship meet
TYPHOON LEVEL (High School Age)
Typhoon Competitive: USA-S Premium membership
- Practices: Prime: 3 @ 1:45 & 2 @ 1:30 Dryland 2 @ :30 Core 2 @ :15
- Must be able to swim all IMR events
- Meets: compete at a meet once every other month & attend championship meet at the end of each season
Typhoon Challenge: USA-S Premium membership
- Practices: Prime: 6 @ 2:00 Second: 2 @ 1:30 Dryland 2 @ :45 Core: 3 @ :30
- Must have swum all 13/14 IMX events in a meet
- Must have IMX score of 1760 (4 best events calculated as a 14 year old)
- Seahawk Elite swimmers that will turn 15 before summer awards and have met all other requirements are eligible for this group for long course season.
- Meets: compete on regular basis once a month & attend championship meet at end of each season
Typhoon Elite: USA-S Premium membership
- Practices: Prime: 6 @ 2:15 Second: 3 @ 1:30 Dryland 3 @ :45 Core 3 @ :30
- Must have swum all 13/14 IMX events in a meet
- Must have 4 VSI Senior Champs QTs or 3 EZ Sectional QTs
- Meet: compete on regular basis once a month & attend highest level championship meet qualified to swim.
- Goal to compete in national level championship meet
**All groups-- coach will give recommendation on appropriate timing and placement taking into account ability to train at next level

Prime: Main in-water practices

Dryland: Fitness room variable resistance training
Core: Body weight exercise conducted pool side or fitness room
IMR: Individual Medley ready events
IMX: Individual Medley extreme events (more advanced)
