2025-2026 Tide Swim Team Fees
GENERAL INFORMATION
- TIDE is a year round swim team. Parents are required to agree to an 11-month swimmer contract with an annual fee based on their swimmer's practice group.
- Senior Bronze is offered in 3 to 4 month long sessions, without an annual contract.
- Rec League, new this year, is offered in two month sessions, without an annual contract.
- Swimmers in the Developmental Silver, Developmental Gold, and Age Group Bronze practice groups can resign with 60 days notice if they decide they do not wish to continue swimming.
- Swimmers who move away from the Hampton Roads area during the season are released from their contracts effective with their move dates. Family service hours obligation is prorated.
- All parents with swimmers in year round groups have a Service (volunteer) hours obligation, with the exception of Developmental Silver. The Service Hours obligation is PER FAMILY and is based on the highest level swimmer. The only groups that DO NOT have service hours obligations are Developmental Silver, Rec League, and Senior Bronze.
- Swimmers who choose to participate in meets will be invoiced for their meet fees, explained HERE.
- All swimmers who train in YMCA pools are required to be members of the YMCA of South Hampton Roads
- Swimmers who train at Chesapeake Golf Club will be assessed a monthly facility fee (Sept 2025 - Aug 2026) outlined below. Swimmers who train at CGC will not train in YMCA pools during the season and will not need a YMCA membership.
Swimmers in family Facility Fee 1 swimmer at CGC only $60/month 2 or more swimmers at CGC only $90/month 1 or more swimmers at a YMCA, 1 or more at CGC $30/month - USA Swimming membership is required of all swimmers. Registration or renewal with USA Swimming for competition year 2025-2026 opens on September 1, 2025
