Each swim season, TIDE Swimming accepts scholarship applications from swimmers. The selection committee will award scholarships based on careful consideration of the submitted materials using the guidelines outlined below. The number of scholarships and the award amount is dependent on the availability of funds submitted by the finance committee for approval by the membership.
The competition is only open to high school seniors. Applicants must have participated on our swim team for no less than two years. Listed below are the minimum criteria and guidelines to be considered for a scholarship. We encourage all interested swimmers to apply.

Dedication: Demonstrates a clear dedication to the sport of swimming and loyalty to our team’s mission
Commitment to Excellence: Constantly strives to make the most of his/her abilities
Goal Achievement: Vigorously pursues his or her goals and dreams while setting high personal and teammate standards
Leadership: Demonstrates that hard work, dedication, and fun lead to new levels of personal accomplishment and lasting friendships
Sportsmanship: Treats all coaches, swimmers, and volunteers within the sport of swimming with respect, honesty, and fairness
Role Model: Epitomizes what TIDE Swimming is all about
School and Community Involvement:
Academic standing: Possesses a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher
Involvement: Participates in at least one school activity or club
Volunteerism: Performs community service hours for a volunteer based organization or church
Attitude: Displays a positive, outgoing attitude
