  A BIG congratulations to Sage Speak and Zach Alleva for competing at the 2011 Speedo Junior National Championships held this past summer in Palo Alto, CA on the Stanford University campus. Making this meet is a big deal, and gives swimmers a chance to race against swimmers from all over the country. You can see their individual results below.   COME SUPPORT TO SAFECO FIELD TO SUPPORT THE MARIN MORRISON FOUNDATION You are invited to Safeco Field on Sunday, September 4th for the 4th annual PSSBL charity baseball game benefitting the Marin Morrison Foundation.  The game is free to all who attend with opportunities to donate.  Two games will be played by PSSBL ball players.  The first game will begin at 12:15 and the second at 3:30.  By just showing up and enjoying a day at Safeco you are helping us greatly.  I hope to see you all there....

  Congratulations to Gabby and Tiffany Dang for representing Wave as part of the PNS Zone team. The meet was held in Clovis, CA starting August 9th and finishing on Saturday August 13th. Gabby finished 2nd in the 100 back setting another PNS record, 2nd in the 50 free, 1st in the 50 fly, 3rd in the 100 fly, 2nd in the 50 back breaking her own PNS record, 1st in the 100 free breaking her own PNS record. Gabby also took part in 2 relays that both finished 2nd....

After 4 days and 112 events of racing, Wave finished 6th of 40 teams present scoring 965 points at the 2011 PNS LC Championship meet. It took a lot of work on the part of the swimmers, and their families for this to happen, both leading up to the meet and during the meet itself.   We had some terrific results over the 4 days that reflected the efforts of the swimmers from the past few months of practice.   Wave finished 6th out of 36 teams who scored points at the 2011 PNS Long Course Championship meet. More details to follow, but highlights included Gabby Dang setting PNS records in the 100 free, 50 fly, 50 back and 400 free while winning 7 of her 8 races, and Sage Speak winning the 200 breaststroke.

  Due to a mechanical issue, Juanita is closed for today Monday July 25th and may remain closed for the next few days.
