There are some adjustments to the practice schedule this week mostly for the Gold group, however Silver swimmers who have been swimming at Colman should note the schedule below as well. The changes in the schedule are due to getting ready to swim fast this coming weekend and because of the PNS LC meet (Thursday- Sunday).   This Saturday, July 23rd we will only have practice for those swimmers who are swimming in the PNS LC Championship meet next weekend.   All other swimmers should be at the Summer Grand Challenge meet in Tacoma. Gold will swim 7:30-10am Bronze and both Silver groups will swim 8-10am

  Congratulations to Sage Speak who last weekend in Port Orchard made a qualifying time for the 2011 Speedo Junior National Championships in the LC 200 breaststroke of 2:39.87. The Junior National meet will take place in Palo Alto, CA August 8-12. Way to go Sage! Your hard work at practice is showing in your meet performances!

  This message only pertains to those swimmers who train at Colman Pool on Thursdays:   A few families have asked about changes to the Colman practice schedule for this Thursday, July 7th. The Senior Seattle Open Meet warm-up starts after we are done at 10am. So there is no conflict and we will run our normal practice until 10am.   Friday and Saturday (July 1-2) will be normal practices for all groups.   Monday, July 4th we will have our normal Colman practice from 10am- Noon for Silver I, Silver II, Gold, Senior and HP groups. This will be the only practice offered that day. All other practices that day are cancelled due to the July 4th holiday.

  Parking and road construction are our biggest issues: Mission Street (street directly in front of Witter) is closed due to road construction.
