This message only pertains to those swimmers who train at Colman Pool on Thursdays:   A few families have asked about changes to the Colman practice schedule for this Thursday, July 7th. The Senior Seattle Open Meet warm-up starts after we are done at 10am. So there is no conflict and we will run our normal practice until 10am.   Friday and Saturday (July 1-2) will be normal practices for all groups.   Monday, July 4th we will have our normal Colman practice from 10am- Noon for Silver I, Silver II, Gold, Senior and HP groups. This will be the only practice offered that day. All other practices that day are cancelled due to the July 4th holiday.

  Parking and road construction are our biggest issues: Mission Street (street directly in front of Witter) is closed due to road construction.   Due to the high school graduation, the Juanita Aquatic Center will be closed on Tuesday June 14th, 2011. We will condense our practice schedule to Redmond that night.   Good news, we have added a meet to the schedule the weekend of July 23-24. The meet is the Summer Grand Challenge at the Titlow Pool in Tacoma. This is an outdoor pool with a great view of the Tacoma Narrows, and a short walk through the park to the waterfront.   This meet is for those not attending the PNS Championship Meet (July 28-31), and is a no time standard long course swim meet.   Due to an event at the Juanita Aquatic Center this coming weekend (June 11-12) we will not have practices at Juanita on Saturday.   Colman Pool A few notes regarding Colman: Bring your equipment (fins, water bottles, etc.) Dress warm.
