We will be handing them out at practices tonight and tomorrow (Tuesday, May 7th and Wednesday, May 8th) so please make sure to pick them up! Final Report from the YMCA National Championships The YMCA National Championships concluded on Saturday much the same way the first 4 days went…spectacular. Day 4 Report from YMCA National Championships A day of records The day started out with Sebastian dropping 4 seconds in his 500 free to set a new OSHY record of 4:40.29, placing 27th after being seeded 61st. Day 3 Report from YMCA Nationals Today prelims started the same way they did yesterday with Emma and Samara swimming great backstroke races. Emma swam her first 56 ever going 56.9 qualifying in for the B final in16th place. Samara swam 57.2 placing 22nd, qualifying for the C final. Kiersten swam away from the field in the 1000 free tonight to win her first YMCA National Championship. She swam 10:06.91 to win by over 4 seconds.
