 Jetlynn Hau won all 3 of her events to pace the Marlins to a 533-466 victory over Storm Aquatics in our dual meet Friday July 22nd!  Marlins with 2 victories included: Justin Cram, Lawren Rainey, and Burch Walker.  Mighty Marlins with 1 win included: Holden Berg, Thomas Durand, Lyric Ingram, Kevin Korte, Addison Lee, Ben Rosenthal, Emma Savidge, Mieko Schwartzmiller, John Snider, Skyler Walker, and Cypress Wendler!  Other Marlins with top 6 finishes helping score points in the Marlin victory included: Lauren Carson, Samantha Curtis, Hoylynn Hau, Talon Lawton, Piper...

Mel Lofton led the way achieving PNS times in the 50, 100, and 200 back. Toria Benson made the 50 free and fly, Abby Magee made the 50 fly and 100 free, Leah Taylor beat the time in the 200 free and 100 fly, Jewel LeValley made the 200 fly, and Lindsay Vanderhoff made the 50 free.  In addition to those best times Melody Coleman had 5 best times and scored a victory in the 50 back and also finished 2nd,3rd,4th, & 9th in other events. As usual the Mighty Marlin Swimmers were a force at the Clear lake Triathlon.  This year a huge field of 37 girls and 31 boys did the youth event consisting of a 100 yard swim, a 11/2 mile bike ride and a 1/2 mile run!  the Marlin girls took 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 9th in this large group.  Abby Magee was 2nd with a 14:54, Erin Delaney 3rd at 15:02, Melody Coleman 4th at 15:26, Piper Lee 5th at 16:39, and Maggie Delaney was 9th with an 18:33.  For...

Behind strong swimming from our newer swimmers the Mighty Marlins outscored the Tigersharks 425-350 Friday night . Carson, Justin Cram, and Addison Lee each won all 3 of their events. Over 70 swimmers swam up to 200 lengths as fast as they could at our annual Swim-A-Thon. This is the Marlins major fund-raiser of the year.  It also is a great opportunity for swimmers to test their limits by striving to reach the 200 length goal! The counters did a wonderful job of keeping swimmers from doing extra lengths in their quest for the food table at the end of their 200 lengths. Way to swim your hearts out Marlins! Remember money is due on July 22nd!

Mighty Marlin swimmers swam 4 meets in 2 days in the uniquely formatted NWAC Round Robin Meet!  At each meet our swimmers dressed in clothes matching a theme for the meet.  Meet 1 was Hawaiian  theme, meet 2 Pokemon, meet 3 Tye Dye , and meet 4 Marlin Green! We witnessed great racing throughout the meet culminating with some fabulous wins in the final championship meet Sunday night.
