Cameron Chaplik had great swims against great competition at Senior Sectionals in Federal Way!  His record came in the 200 breaststroke with a very fast 2:16.31 clocking! The 800 Free Relay of Jennifer Domanowski, Hannah Peseau, Morgan Ginnis, and Hannah Taylor also broke a team record and place 10th at this meet which is the championship of a 9 state area!  Jennifer also took 11th in the 200Fly.  Hannah was 12th in the 400 IM, and Morgan was 13th in the 50 Free!

Kara Libra achieved an amazing 9 best times at the AG invite at Kamiak. Jeffrey Lozensky totaled 8, Bindi Pedersen 6, Christina Domanowski 5, Mel Lofton and Abby Magee 4, Melody Coleman, Spencer Girard and Karoline Schaufler 3, Morgan Ginnis, Rachel Hartmeyer, Erin Delaney, Maggie Delaney, and Leah Taylor 2, and Hannah Davis and Jennifer Domanowski 1 each! Way to improve Mighty Marlins!

Christina Domanowski, Jeffrey Lozensky and Bindi Pedersen all set new team records for their age group in the 1000 free at the Wave Distance Meet Sunday the 13th of February.  Jennifer Domanowski also set a new record in the 1650 free!  Way to go distance sprinting Marlins!

Jeffrey Lozensky and Bindi Pedersen led the way with 8 first place finishes each at the Feb. We thought we had lost a great assistant coach when Karoline, because of her youg age, lost her ability to be certified as a coach under new USA Swimming rules, and we had.  However, the loss of Karoline as a coach has led to a superb situation that has emerged; Karoline as a video taper and analyzer.  One day a week Karoline is video taping swimmers and going over with them how to improve any stroke flaws they see.  It has become a wonderful situation and has already helped several...

Behind strong relays and multiple top 16 finishes by Hannah Peseau, Hannah Taylor, Morgan Ginnis, and Jennifer Domanowski, the Marlins scored 301 points placing ahead of over 30 teams from throughout the Western US.  The 200 medley relay featuring the 4 girls mentioned took 4th, while the 800 free relay was 2nd. Alisa Stang replaced Hannah Peseau on the 400 free relay which also placed 2nd.
