Jennifer Domanowski was first overall for 15-16 year old girls.  Trevor was tops for 17 and over boys and Hannah Taylor was the number 1 13-14 year old.  Oliver and Morgan each took 2nd in their age groups overall. In this early season long course meet the Marlins swam exceptionally well.  Hannah Peseau and Jennifer each qualified for Spring USA Nationals.  Hannah Taylor and Morgan Ginnis made Junior National times.  The Marlins set a multitude of team records at this meet and dominated the field!  Christina Domanowski again put herself...

  Although it was a small group they swam very well.  Jensen and Serena Corbett each scored top 6 finishes in multiple events, and Leah Taylor took 2nd 4 times.  Burch and Shelby scared the other teams with their massive muscles!

  Christina Domanowski broke the PNS Record in the 200 meter freestyle at the NWAC Triple Pentathlon.  Her time of 2:27.51 broke the 2 year old record of our own Morgan Ginnis.  Way to go Christina.  Many other Marlins at the meet won awards for winning their daily pentathlon or the overall, awe inspiring, 15 event Triple Pentathlon!

  Six Marlins placed in the top 8 at the Long Course meet earning medals:  Morgan Ginnis had 4-1sts, 1-2nd, 2-3rds, and 1-8th;  Oliver Durand scored a 2nd, 2-5ths, 2-6ths, and 3-8ths;  Spencer Girard took a 2nd, a 4th, and 2-8ths;  TrevorLeValley had 1-3rd, 2-4ths, and a 7th;  Hannah Peseau took 4th, 2-7ths, and 1-8th:  and Karoline Schaufler took a 3rd!

Four Marlins were overall winners at the Blowfish Pentathlon. Leah Taylor, Abby Magee, Christina Domanowski, and Melody Coleman were all victorious destroying the competition by winning all, or nearly all, of their events!

  The Peseau's again gave us use of their awesome banquet hall for the short course banquet celebrating the 2008-09 season.  The night was highlighted by awesome food, lots of great achievements recalled, and a host of sticky hands. The most improved Marlins are pictured, they include: Leah Taylor, Abby Magee, Jon Thill, Erin Delaney, Luke Lobaugh, Hannah Taylor, Jon Pusateri, Karoline Schaufler, and Andrew Winquist!    

  In a "first of its kind" meet the Mighty Marlins Parents ran a phenominal show that was a blast for all participants!  Not only did the Marlins have fun but they won the overall title and many Marlins won the overall six event total to earn a plaque!  Winners included Bindi Pedersen, Jensen Corbett, Christina Domanowski, Hannah Taylor, Morgan Ginnis, Lindsay Vanderhoff, and Oliver Durand.  Many other Marlins were top 6 as is shown by the number of Marlins with Medals in the picture! Way to go Team!

  Julie Delaney led the way with a first place in the 200 breaststroke at the PNA Masters Champs in Federal Way!  Jan Coleman, Katy Magee and Kirby Schaufler all chipped in with top 3 finishes!  Marcy Thill on the verge of total dominance at the meet, fell ill and was unable to destroy her competition.

  Twelve Marlins spent a rainy but spectacular day at the Woodland Park Zoo in Seattle!  The highlight of the day was the feeding of the birds in the "Bird Room".

  In a meet that featured the best swimmers from 9 Western States the Mighty Marlins proved they are one of the elite clubs in the area by taking 8th in a field of over 150 teams that attended the meet, and another 500 or more that didn’t even have any qualifiers for this prestigous meet!
