Thirteen different Marlins won at least 1 event at our first NCSSL Dual meet of the Season.  Lauren Carson won all 3 of her events, the 100 free, breast, and IM, as did Skylar Van Der Putten who won the 50 free and the 100 fly and free.  Alec Villa was victorious in the 50 free and fly, and Philip Wold took the 50 free and breast.  Winners of 1 event each included: Lauren Brager-50 free, Julian Bunney-50 back, Alexa Gaydamachuk-25 breast, Calvin Higgins-25 free, Maggie Higgins-100 IM, Bjorn Leigh-50...

Mighty Marlin Swimmers and Parents answered nearly every trivia question correctly at the Senior Seattle Open winning Maggie Delaney and Karlie Rimat $25 gift certificates to NW Swim Shop!  Matt Owen and Jeffrey Lozensky also swam at the meet!

37 Marlins combined for 99 best times at the Marlin hosted "I Can't Get into a LC Meet This Summer Classic!".  Jetlynn, Hoylynn, and Lloyd Hau combined for 21 of the 99 best times.  Mila Carrasco, Josh Christos, Tristan Pearson, Emma Savidge, Mieko Schwartzmiller, Leah Taylor, Philip Wold, and Jaeson Wykes each had 4 best times, Alexa Gaydamachuk, Maggie Delaney, Isaac Giordano, Katie Hammer, Madie Jacobson, Kaylee Mackey, Matt Owen, Lawren Rainey, Skylar Van Der Putten, and Alec Villa each had 3.  Swimmers with 1 or 2 best times included:...

Our goal was simple: Have fun in the sun!  Yes, we met our goal.  The highlights of the meet were: Watching our 10 & under swimmers playing cards with our senior swimmers.  Families climbing the hill that looms over the pool.  Eating, eating, and more eating.  Swimming under the lights Saturday night.  Relays at the end that were in their own way epic. Also we swam races highlighted by several swimmers making new PNS Champs qualifying times, many best times, and lots of first time long course swims!

MMSC Parent Meeting – May 28, 2014   Why We Host Meets -When we host a meet, we make money.Our rent at MPHS is close to $5000 a month.This does not include our coaching staff salaries (and they are some of the lowest paid coaches in PNS).Hosting successful meets is what helps keep us from raising our dues.    LC Meet at KCAC on June 21-22 -This is our trial run hosting a meet at KCAC.Important for everyone to help so we will be ready for the HUGE meet next...

Melody Coleman won the 50 and 200 breaststroke, Emily Jacobson won the 50 fly, Karlie Rimat won the 200 back and 200 IM, and Leay Taylor was victorious in the 50 breaststroke at the Spring Sockeye Meet in Federal Way.  Other medal winners included: Erik Anderson-3rd, Maggie Delaney-3rd, Rachel Hartmeyer-3rd, Jeffrey Lozensky-2nd & 3rd, Abby Magee-2nd & 2nd, and Matt Owen-3rd.  Marlins taking ribbons for top 16 finishes included: Caitlynn Anderson, Chris Anderson, Nathaniel Goldor, and Skyler Walker.

Jetlynn Hau won 5 events at the T-Bird Classic in Anacortes.  Hoylynn won 2 events, and Lloyd had 6 top 3 finishes, to lead the Mighty Marlins.  Josh Christos had 4 top 6 finishes at the meet, Mieko Schwartzmiller had 5, Kaylee Mackey had 3, Katie Hammer and Lawren Rainey each had 2, and Julian Bunney, Tristan Pearson, Ben Veazey, and Alec Villa each had 1. Isaac Olson, Lorelei Pringle, Grace Williams, and Audrey Zimer all swam best times at the meet!
