Seven different Marlins won at least one event at the NCSSL Championships. Lloyd Hau led the way winning all 3 of his events. Led by Karlie Rimat the Mighty Marlins made a strong showing at the PNS Champs Meet in Federal Way. Karlie was top 10 in all 8 of her events including a thrilling win in the 200 back. Five Marlin swimmers won all three of their events at the Dual meet Friday at MP Pool. The 3 time winners were: Lauren Carson, Lawren Rainey, Alec Villa, Philip Wold, and Jaeson Wykes. Two time winners included: Alexa Gaydamachuk and Lloyd Hau, and winners of 1 event were: Lucas Palmer, Noah Paxton, Calvin Higgins, and Puja Mishra. Maggie Delaney took first in the 14 and under youth triathlon for the womens division. Maggie Higgins was 20th overall in the youth division and Calvin Higgins was 28th. Josh Christos was 4th in the 15-18 age group doing the adult triathlon a grueling 800 yard swim, 14 mile bike, and 4 mile run. Congratulations to all the all-around great Marlin athletes!
Emily Jacobson led the way swimming a total of 18 races in the 4 day meet. Emily added the 50 and 800 free to her list of PNS qualified events and she hit the top 16 in 10 different events.
