For the first time in several years, Wyoming Swimming sent eight (8) athletes to Elk Grove to compete in the Western Zone Age Group Championships. The team was led by Head Coach Dave Hoch with assistance from coach/chaperone Sarah DeLay. The eight athletes who attended were: Dylann Anderson, Abigail Baxter, Shaye Byram, Adalyn DeLay, Kloe Fjell, Gavin Jorgensen, Jacob Laborde and Gilby Schaefer. Congratulations to the Wyoming swimmers who represented WYSI at the Senior Zone Championships: Nzelle Ayokosok, Anna Baxter, Evan Bott, Chayse Denton, Kaitlin Diver, Christopher Hager, Vayda Havens, Kayleigh Hood, Mitchell Horn, Alexander Jordan, Sara Kearns, Dalia Leoni, Luci Pfisterer, Kase Reckling, Kelan Stakes, Maren Tattersall and Ian Young. Over the past few months, WYSI has had several new Meet Directors at LSC meets. Many of these individuals indicated it would be helpful to have a handbook to help them move in to this role. At the July 14 Board of Directors Meeting, a formal WYSI records policy was established. It can be found HERE. The Long Course Records have been updated!
