Three swimmers from the 92nd Street Y Flying Dolphins qualified to represent Metropolitan Swimming (Metro) at the Eastern Zone Short Course Swimming Championships last weekend (3/31/2011 - 4/2/2011). Twelve year old Carly Fried qualified to represent Metro in the 50 breaststroke and the 100 breaststroke. 2011 Metropolitan Short Course Junior Olympics Swimming Championships On March 25, the Flying Dolphins traveled to the Nassau County Aquatic Center in East Meadow , NY to compete in the Metro Region Short Course Junior Olympics.
