On-line registration for the 2013 - 2014 season will be open soon for all returning swimmers. Thank you to Shelly Miller who has spent many hours this summer getting this all set up. Brantford - Four athletes from the Belleville Youth Swim Team competed at Ontario Long Course Provincial Championships last week. Stephanie Cairns, competing in the in the 14 year old female category, brought home a silver medal in the 1500m freestyle and a bronze in the 200m freestyle. Talia Pappalardo earned a silver medal in the 1500m freestyle for the 15 year old female division. Nepean – The Belleville Youth Swim Team had 17 athletes compete at Eastern Ontario Regional Long Course Championships this past weekend and the athletes were able to post 75 percent best times. The team placed 9th overall, which was very respectable considering the clubs ahead of them all brought at least twice as many swimmers. BYST brought home 31 medals, including a come from behind win in the 11 and 12 male medley relay. Toronto- Five members of the Belleville Youth Swim Team went up against the best 13 and under swimmers in Ontario this past weekend. Four boys competed, two in the 12 year old division, Alexander Grant and Rafik Jiwa; and two in the 13 year old category, Isaac and Ryan Jarvis.
