2025 Provincial Trials

At the start of summer we sent 15 swimmers all the way down to Medicine Hat for Provincial Trials.

The weekend had a lot of great summer success for all attending!

 

We started the meet off with a fantastic Friday, June and Taylor got massive PBs in their 800 FR, finishing 8th and 5th. Annika won Silver in her 800 FR!

Evan made finals in 200IM finishing 6th, and 200FL which he won with a great last 50 earning his place at Champs! We also had Mia, June and Taylor make the girls 200FL final, with Mia winning bronze! June finishing 6th and Taylor 7th.

 

Saturday morning we had some great prelim swims all around, and some top 8 finishes in the 400 FR, Annika coming 6th, Evan 5th and Cooper 7th!

Saturday finals had Noah make his first provincial final coming in 8th in 200 BK.  100 BR saw Teju finish 8th and Abigail get 7th in their finals. In the boys 50 FL Evan just missed the podium again finishing 4th.  In 400 IM we had Taylor win a bronze medal in the girls.  We also had Evan win silver, Tim bronze and Merrik finished 4th in the boys 400 IM!

 

The last day we had Evan and Tim in 800 FR with Evan winning silver and Tim finishing 5th.  The final finals session we had Abigail finish 5th in 200 BR.  Annika placed 5th as well in her 200 FR.  In the boys 200 FR we had Cooper place 7th.  The last event was 100 FL and we had Mia finish 7th, Abigail 4th, Evan 4th and Noah 6th!
