With one day to go before we start the final preparation comes to its conclusion. Swimmers appear relaxed as we look over the Olympic pool

Hyack finished the camp with 10*100@3 min max effort and even though tired the swimmers pulled off a good set to close camp. From the pool we went to a surprise evening for the team and took in the Florida Panthers hockey game vs Edmonton Oilers. For most it was their first NHL game and we had overtime and a shoot out to boot! It was a great camp overall and you couldn't have had better weather or pool conditions to train in. Now the groups split to the Olympic...

With one day to go the swimmers had an eventful day. We rented surf boards and spent a day surfing prior to the afternoon training session. Surf was up and our beginner status was pretty evident on the boards but we looked good! Dinner was on the canal at a hotspot called FlipFlops. It was Abi Sayer's 18 birthday dinner. Today with a cake we celebrate tomorrow with a birthday swim! Overall the camp has been great with the swimmers fully involved in the sessions and running to the pool...

Started off the evening with Haydn's silver and Sherry's gold in the 400fr. Sherry's 400 is also the swim of the meet! She broke her own club record and had an excellent race. Definitely brought a lot of excitement to the rest of the night. Next medal was Abi's bronze in the 200bk. Stefan swam an awesome 200bk after and got a gold and a new club record! Then came 10 year old Kiana's 100br silver. She swam a blistering 50 and got a new club record in the 50br...

Another good night for finalists. 2 new meet records from Ethan Laing and Chris Baker in the 200br and 100fly, respectively. One new club record from Sherry Liu in the 400im. Also, we had 10 year old Kiana Stark get a bronze in the 11&under 200br. Better finishes tonight then last night, with no one being outswam in the last 15m. We managed to move up to third place overall at one point in the meet, but slid back down to 6th after relays. We got a steep hill to...
