Additional Information:

  • The Chestnut Hill Recreation & Development Centre (CHRDC) opens at 7:00 AM daily.
  • Swimmers may enter the pool area 15 minutes before warm-up. Swimmers who need to change into suits must use the private stalls in the universal changeroom.
  • Only swimmers may enter the pool area through the changerooms. Coaches, officials, volunteers, and spectators should enter the deck via the spectator doors (through the hallway past the changerooms).
  • Access to the deck is limited to swimmers, coaches, officials, and registered volunteers. Spectators may watch from the on-deck bleachers (please respect restricted areas marked by cones) or from the upstairs viewing window.
  • No photographs or videos may be taken in the changerooms or behind the starting blocks. Please avoid flash photography and noise during race starts, and be respectful when taking photos.
Volunteer & Officials Information

The volunteer grid:

Our Volunteer Grid has three tabs to help you find your assignment: 

  • Officials Grid - all on-deck officiating roles by session (e.g. Timekeeper, Inspector of Turns, etc.)
  • Off-Deck Grid - volunteer roles that support the meet outside of the pool deck (e.g. snack deck, set up, take down)
  • Officials by Name - a summary of officials only by name and session. Please note that off-deck volunteers are not listed here.

The Grid is actively maintained and updates will be made as needed. If your position changes significantly, we'll contact you to confirm. 

If your name has been highlighted GREEN, you will be acting as a safety marshal. If your name is highlighted in BLUE, you have asked for an evaluation. Officials wanting an evaluation can still request one up until the start of the session. Please check in with our officials coordinator.

What to Wear:
  • Timekeepers & Chief Timers: White shirt, black bottoms, black (indoor) closed-toe shoes.
  • Safety Marshals: White or red shirt, black bottoms, black (indoor) closed-toe shoes. A safety vest will be provided upon arrival.
  • All Other Officials: Red polo shirt, black bottoms, black (indoor) closed-toe shoes.

Additional Information for Off-Deck Volunteers
  • Meet Setup: Thursday, December 4, 2025, 8:30 pm - 10:00 pm
  • Meet Take Down: Sunday, December 7, 2025, 5:00 - 7:00 pm

Meet setup and take-down volunteers should bring clean (indoor) shoes, a refillable water bottle, and wear comfortable clothing. Please remember that it can get quite warm while setting up on the pool deck.

Off-Deck Volunteers: Please refer to the Volunteer & Officials Grid for your assigned shift times. Off-deck shifts are staggered to provide continuous support throughout the meet. You may be assigned to assist in the Snack Deck, the lunch room, or both. There is no "uniform" for off-deck volunteers. Please bring a refillable water bottle.

 - The Shops at Pickering Mall - with several restaurants in the food court in the lower level
