Administrative Head Coach / Coach - Sterling Silver
Coach Jessica has over 9 years of experience coaching swimming and is in her second year coaching with the Strathmore Silver Sharks. She has undergraduate degrees in kinesiology and nutrition and outside of swim coaching, works as a Sports Performance Dietitian and Exercise Physiologist. She is NCCP-Age Group level trained, soon to be certified, and is eager to learn more and progress her education and training as a swim coach.
Her philosophy as a coach is to help swimmers achieve goals and dream big while learning to have fun on the journey. She strives to develop well-rounded swimmers through quality meters of all four strokes, sports nutrition, strength training, mobility, positive self-talk, and balancing swimming with school, sleep, family, friends, and other life responsibilities.
As the Competitive Head Coach, Coach Jessica mentors and supports the club’s coaches and oversees the club’s overall training program.
In addition, Coach Jessica's commitment to the sport of swimming has been recognized by Swim Alberta, as she was selected to be the
Zone 2 Assistant Swim Coach for the 2023 Alberta Summer Games and was selected to participate in the 2024 Future Coaches advanced training cohort.

Martina was an accomplished swimmer with the club for 9 years and has enjoyed returning as a coach. She is attending Mount Royal University in hopes of becoming an Athletic Therapist! She is excited to continue expanding her coaching skills and to see her swimmers excel.

Coach - Bronze
Effram was a provincial qualifying swimmer who swam with Strathmore Silver Sharks for 5 years. He graduated from Strathmore High School in 2022 and is attending the University of Manitoba in January 2023. He is looking forward to coaching the Bronze lane to teach them all he has learned through the years while having fun!
Coach - Minnows, Gold & Masters
Coach Christine has been a Coach for the Strathmore Silver Sharks Swim Club for over 5 years. Way before that, she was a swimmer with the Saskatoon Lazers Swim Club. She went on to be a Coach for the Team and coached the "I Can Swim" Program for them. She was a lifeguard and a swim instructor for the Red Cross and Life Saving Society. She is a proud mother of 2 wonderful kids, one of whom swims for the Strathmore Sharks! She loves coaching and being on deck with all the outstanding swimmers. She loves challenging them and seeing them succeed!
