  Hollandia Invitational: Windsor did really well at the Hollandia meet in London.  We returned with 8 gold, 8 silver, and 5 bronze medals, and 106 best times!  Kelly Marie qualified for festivals in 200 back, Savannah Bryant qualified first time for Regionals, and countless others qualified for additional Regional events.

What a fantastic way to end the SEAL league season!  We had 71 best times overall.  Abigail M. qualified for Regionals.  Owen C and Cole P both earned a third place trophy for the boys 7 and under and boys 8-9 years old.  It was a great finish to a great season.  All of the coaches are very proud of your performanes.

  Our last regular SEAL meet of the season brought Coach Deb and Coach Paul and 31 swimmers to Blenheim.  The swimmers had 63 best times, 6 first place finishes, 13 second place finishes, and 11 third place finishes. Coach Paul and Deb are excited for the SEAL champs.

  Our first long course meet was a huge success!  6 new Regional qualifiers – Garrett, Ben, Adam, Hayden, Nolan, and Alannah. Kendra qualified in two more events for Age Group Nationals. Currently she is the fastest 12 year old girl in Canada in 50 back, second fastest in 50 and 100 free and 200 back, and third in 100 back. It was a first swim meet for Adam, Farrah, and Nolan. There were 92 best times overall.  WAC had 20 top 3 places. Great job for your first long...

Congratulations to our four competitors: Kelly Marie, Kendra, Maia, and Trenton Kelly Marie and Trenton - Best times in 50 back Maia - Best times in 50 (5th) and 100 back (6th) Kendra - Best times in 50 (1st), 100 (1st), 200 (1st) free and 100 back (2nd), second in 200 back and sixth in 200 IM, qualfied for Age Group Nationals in 100 back and 100 free. With Kendra's times this weekend, she has been selected for the International Children's Games Windsor team in August.

The Leamington IM Sprint/Extreme meet was another success for WAC!   Ribbons:  We had 45 first place, 44 second place, 35 third place, 23 fourth and fifth place and 10 sixth place.  WAC finished with 81 best times and 80 NEW events swum for the first time by our swimmers.  What made this meet special, each day the individual swimmer's times for each event were added together for an overall total.   Thus, we had 8 swimmers win the overall fastest time for their respective age group and will receive...

  Way to go Wac Swimmers, Chatham's SEAL meet a great sucess. We had some swimmers attend and compete in their first meet ever and with fantastic results. Numerous best times were achieved and had great head to head racing. We struggled a little with turns but overall a great showing. New qualifier for regionals - Seth.  Keep up the great work!

  On February 9, six swimmers travelled to Lake Orion High School in Michigan to compete in the Guppy Bowl. This meet was for 8 and under swimmers only and included 29 different teams. The meet got off to an interesting start with a fire alarm being pulled and the swimmers having to evacuate the building. Once all the confusion was over and the swimmers were allowed back in the pool, the meet started and our swimmers did extremely well! We had 15 best times and 5 top ten finishes!...

Congratulations to the 26 swimmers who competed at Western Regional Champs in Brantford.  Juliana qualified in all three breaststroke event finals - first time even able to qualify for finals! We ended up with 27 best times.  Way to go WAC!

Seal Meet #4: Coach Deb and Coach Jodi were very impressed with the racing that took place over at Riverside High School on Saturday January 12.  The swimmers competed with spirit, and it was so nice to have the parents cheering on all the swimmers.  Only two more SEAL meets to go until the championships in April.
