There were 26 swimmers that traveled back to the Wilmot Aquatic Centre on the 19 and 20th of January.  It was a fast meet, and we were lucky enough to get four more swimmer qualified for Regionals: Aiden, Savannah, Nick, and Chris.  We also had more swimmers qualify in events to swim at regionals.  Kendra qualified for more Festival events too.  Way to go swimmers!  Great meet, let's get ready for Regionals!

 Sarnia Seal Meet Info: Coach Deb wants to congratulate the 19 swimmers who attended the Sarnia Seal meet.  She said she hasn't seen that much team spirit in a long time.  Way to go! We had 25 best times with 4 Gold, 2 Silver, and 3 Bronze.  Great job everyone!

Great job to the 9 swimmers who competed in Tillsonburg this past weekend.  We had 32 best times, and 5 swimmers qualify for Regionals.  We had 14 golds, 9 silvers, and 8 bronze medals.  Way to go!  Looking forward to the ACES swim meet in November.

  Head Coach Jeff Cowan recently met with City of Windsor Officials, WFCU Centre Supervisor, Canada's FINA representative Dr. Margo Mountjoy and, 2008 FINA Chief Executive Peter Knowles.  Peter is known for his extensive experience in sporting events and sports management.  The group toured the WFCU Centre for feasability of hosting the 2016 or 2018 FINA World Championships.  A proposal will be presented to council in the near future.
