BLUE BELL, Pa. - For many years, the Middle Atlantic Championship series has brought thrilling moments, captivating crowds, and memories to last a lifetime. That excitement is thanks to the hard work and dedication by so many clubs that have hosted the championships throughout the years.

This year, Middle Atlantic Swimming is thrilled to unveil some exciting new changes for the upcoming 2023 Championship series.

In 2022, over 4,500 swimmers took part in the SCY Championships. This upcoming year, Middle Atlantic Swimming looks to give more swimmers and clubs chances to experience the excitement of the Championship Series.

“Providing the best experience for our swimmers and clubs is always our top priority and we believe that by instituting these changes continue to enhance these meets for our members,” Executive Director Jamie Platt said. “Each year, we see so many incredible memories made at these championship meets and we can’t wait for this year’s series to bring out the same results.”

In 2023, four different championships will be hosted at nine different sites throughout the Middle Atlantic Swimming area.

“These experiences are solely because of the work of so many volunteers, officials, and community amongst the clubs that are hosting,” Platt added. “It’s because of their dedication that thousands of kids from around our LSC get to share memories for a lifetime.
