Join Us for Swimposium 2.0
Swimposium – is a symposium, focused on SWIMMING. Middle Atlantic Swimming & Allegheny Mountain Swimming are co-hosting this regional learning opportunity, and YOU are invited!
USA Swimming’s Swimposium provides your Local Swimming Committee (Middle Atlantic LSC) with educational opportunities crucial to the development of its members through topical programing. Sessions will create a specific track for athletes, coaches, parents and volunteers. Held in State College PA, September 13 - 15, 2024, at the Penn Stater Conference Center. All tracks are just $85.00.
Topics included:
- The Impact of competitive swimming on your child. (Parents)
- USA Swimming's ADM course. (Coaches)
- Leadership development (13 & over Swimmers)
- Competitive swimming clinic (12 & under Swimmers)
All participants will have the opportunity to meet and work with 2024 Team USA Olympian Alex Walsh!!
The weekend will end with a funfilled Relay Carnival.

Coaches Track
Registration/Check-in Friday 5:00 - 6:00 pm
Programming Friday night and all day Saturday (Coaches are invited to help with Sunday's Relay Carnival)
The coaches track will go through the American Development Model for Age Group Coaching. Coaches will leave the Swimposium with their USA Swimming ADM Age Group Coaching Certificate.
Officials & Parent Track
Registration/Check-in with your child
The Officials & Parent track will offer opportunities for new and experienced officials. Parents who are
looking for information on how swim meets are managed and how their child progresses through USA
Swimming, from Age Group meets to the Olympic Trials. There will be chances for brand new officials
to start getting experience in shadowing current officials and begin working towards their required
certifications. Current officials will be able to network, connect with mentors and move up officiating
levels. The Swimposium will provide you with the opportunity to select specific activities for you to
attend.
The 13 & Over Swimmer Leadership Track
Registration/Check-in Friday 5:00 - 6:00pm
Programming Friday night and all day Saturday (option to swim in or help with Relay Carnival Sunday)
13 and Over Swimmer Leadership Track Registration/Check-in Friday 5-6pm through Sunday 1 pmhis track will be an excellent opportunity for swimmers to learn more about the sport of swimming and the impact they can have on their teams and themselves! Swimmers will work with USA Swimming Staff members to learn more about becoming a leader on their teams, in the LSC, and in all aspects of their life. And spend time with a 2024 TEAM USA Olympic Athlete.
12 & Under Swimmer Track
Registration/Check-in Saturday 8am
Programming all day Saturday and Sunday morning.
This track will be geared towards preparing 12 and Under Swimmers for their future in swimming. 12 and Under Swimmers will have a water session with 2024 TEAM USA Olympic Athlete Alex Walsh as well as educational sessions with the USA Swimming Staff.
The weekend will culminate with a Relay Carnival that will have opportunities for each track of the Swimposium! 12&U Swimmers will be racing, 13&O Swimmers can race or learn how to be a Junior Coach, officials will be able to officiate and/or shadow, coaches can connect and mentor others, parents can shadow officials or help with timing! Come join us for this wonderful event!
Relay Meet Sunday 9am-1pm. Includes all athletes, coaches and parents learning to officiate.
