MASI Seeks a Director of LSC Events & Championships

Middle Atlantic Swimming, Inc is now accepting applications for the full-time position of Director of LSC Events and Championships. 

About the Role

The Director will oversee all LSC-wide events and every level of MASI-sanctioned Championships (managing everything from event logistics and facility setup, to streaming, awards coordination, volunteer staffing, and online entries).  This position reports directly to the Executive Director.
 
Additional responsibilities include: procurement and contract management for meet venues; budget oversight; coordination of hotel and travel arrangements for participants; managing MASI’s event equipment; and supporting marketing, brand development, and communications (including MASI’s website and social media channels). 

Who Should Apply

Candidates should have at least two years’ experience (or equivalent education/experience) in event management or operations, strong organizational and communication skills, marketing/brand-management experience, and familiarity with USA Swimming rules and regulations. 

The role requires flexibility - nights and weekends will be involved - and the ability to manage multiple projects, lead staff and volunteers, and handle administrative and technical duties.
