Hello my name is Elin! I am an upcoming junior for Northwood High School, and I have been swimming for about 7 years. I also have done competitive swimming with Novaquatics for about 3 years. I am looking forward to being part of this team and helping everyone grow!

I tried out various sports when I was younger, but I ultimately stuck with swimming because it's one of the safest sports, and I love the sensation of going fast in the water. I've been swimming since second grade and now as a sophomore in high school. One goal I have this summer is to help the swimmers achieve their best times in any event because making progress is the best motivation to continue practicing the sport. There are days when I arrive at the pool feeling drained, whether from work stress or general exhaustion, but when I get out of the pool, even if it’s not a record-breaking workout, I feel much better than I did before, and I hope many of you can relate to that. I look forward to seeing everyone's progress this season!

| I’m so excited to be a volunteer coach this summer! I took my first swim lesson at nine months old and have loved this sport ever since. I started swimming competitively when I was eight on Speed Aquatics and later joined Azot. This upcoming fall, I will be a sophomore at Northwood High School, where I play for the girls water polo team and compete on the swim team. I have also been with Stonegate Seahawks as a swimmer since 2018 and was a team captain last year. Swimming has brought me so much joy and great experiences, and I hope to spread my passion for the sport with others. I look forward to having an amazing season this summer! |
