Membership Requirements

 

REQUIRED steps to be considered an active member:

  1. Register with Champion Gymnastics Booster Club and contribute $450 mimimum by registration deadline
  2. Fundraise or pay remaining $600 minimum fundraising goal by November 1st
  3. Sign up and complete your volunteer credit obligations outlined below

 

1. Register online by July 1st (or within 2 weeks of joining the team if after that date)

  • Sign in if existing member or create account if new
  • Complete the registration steps and read the membership agreement – please make sure you have an active email account on file
  • Determine if you’re going to pay Online or Offline
  • Online: there is a 3.25% + $1.50 fee
  • Offline: pay via check in the black box next to the booster club office door located in the cheer hall; include your child’s name and level on the check Memo line
  • Contribute $450 minimum by registration deadline

*You are not fully registered until you have both registered online and met your $450 contribution

2. Fundraising Requirements - $600 per gymnast

  • You can set up autopay installments on GoMotion if you opt not to fundraise your amount
  • The total fundraising minimum is due by November 1st.

*There are several fundraising opportunities throughout the season

 

3. Complete 5 Volunteer Credits (+2 credits per additional gymnast)

  • Credits can be completed by working on a committee and/or volunteering at in-house meets and the Derby Classic meet
  • 1 in-house volunteer credit should be worked at Champion Challenge or Super Bowl Challenge.
  • A minimum 4 volunteer credits must be worked at Derby Classic.

Be Sure to Also:

  • Join Champion Gymnastics Booster Club and your gymnast’s Level Facebook page, etc.

  • Register with USAG - this must be done every year
     
    1. Go to  Usagym.org
    2. Log in for returning gymnast or register for a new gymast
    3. Go to your profile
    4. At top of page click purchase 2023-24 membership
    5. Club should be: Champion Gymnastics/All About Kids Sports Center(#23286)
    6. Pay USAG registration fee to complete the registration process

*All gymnasts must register with USAG each year in order to compete at any USAG sanctioned meets.

 

 

Other Scenarios:

You are required to complete all membership obligations and fees even if your gymnast becomes injured or if they quit early in the season, as most expenses are paid well in advance by the booster club. Additionally, if your gymnast joined late in the season, you are still required to meet the full membership obligation. Your fundraising may be prorated if you joined after February 1st, at the discretion of the board. Contact VP-Membership Kari Haston to determine the full amount owed.
