AGE GROUP COACH OF THE YEAR Congratulations to Corey Lomas, Pioneer Valley Aquatics Avengers (PVAA) for winning the Age Group Coach of the Year Award. Corey started his team in 2016 and since that time has increased his numbers of Age Group Championship, Senior Championship and Futures qualifying swimmers. Corey was nominated and voted on by his NE Swimming coaching peers. Corey has an unmatched loved for coaching swimming and for the sport itself, and hopes to instill positive values and a healthy lifestyle through swimming.

At the George Block Meet in Texas, Dean Farris (UN) set a new Open RES 100 free record. His time of 49.75 surpassed the record of 50.01 set by Wyatt Ubellacker (BGSC) in 2015!
The PHX 13-14 200 FREE Relay of Michaela Chokureva, Megan Reich, Mary Kate Turk and Malia Amuan shattered the previous record at the TNAQ meet this weekend. Their time of 1:50.83 surpassed the previous record of 1:53.60 held by the ABF Team of E.Zeiger, L.Vivado, E.McQuaid and H.Cordery since 2012. The 15-16, 17-18 age group records have been tabulated.
