Congratulations to Andover North Andover YMCA (ANA) for achieving the LEVEL 3 status of the USA Swimming Club Recognition Program. Only 6 clubs in NE have achieved level 3 or higher. Dan Reilly is the head coach of ANA.

CONGRATULATIONS! Congratulations to Metrowest Aquatics Club (MAC), and Charles River Aquatics (CRA) for achieving the USA Swimming LEVEL 1 Club Recognition status! They now join the other 13 clubs in New England who have achieved the Level 1 status or higher. Michael Kotch and Alex Cronin are the Head Coaches of MAC, and Chris Sheppard is the Head Coach of CRA. SAFETY POSTER CONTEST FINALIST Kuba Wolf, age 12, from Karishim Swim Club (KASC) was a finalist in the Safety Poster Contest organized by USA Swimming. His poster was selected as one of the top 10 to be voted on by the delegates at the USA-S Convention last week in North Carolina. Thank you, Kuba, for representing NE Swimming in this effort to publicize safety in our sport!
USA Swimming has published the list of swimmers ranked in the top 10 per event. There are several NE Swimmers who are on this list, including some 1st place finishers in the country! CONGRATULATIONS to the New England Swimmers who have been selected to the USA Swimming Scholastic All American Team! The Eastern Zone topped the list of having the most SAA's! Each year, USA Swimming recognizes its members who excel both in the classroom and in the pool. 2012 MARY T. RIDDELL SCHOLARSHIP CONNOR DALY Connor Daly, BYB, was recently awarded the New England Swimming Mary T. Riddell scholarship. Connor was selected this year from a varied and worthy group of applicants. As a member of the Burbank Y Bluefins, Connor also swam for his High School team, Reading Memorial. He has volunteered for almost four years with EMARC (East Middlesex Association for Retarded Citizens) and has helped coach many on his team to win multiple medals at the Special Olympics.
