WAVE Swim Club has partnered with ARENA to outfit our athletes with team swimsuits, warm ups, gear and training equipment.

What does this mean? We have been working with a preferred vendor, Elsmore Swim Shop, to get a Team Store set up on their website. The store is live! Families can now order training gear and team swimsuits for their swimmers. Not all training groups need equipment, coaches will notify you if your swimmer needs any specific or special training equipment. Coaches have created a Training Group Equipment List that is posted on the website.

With each ARENA item purchased from our team store, our club is given back a percentage of Value-in-Kind (VIK) dollars. This means we can continue to replenish our shared training equipment and get the newest and best available items for our athletes to use and train with (pull buoys, kickboards, fins, parachutes, hand paddles, etc). In addition, ARENA items listed on the Team Store are at a discounted rate for our club members.

Partnering with ARENA means that their logo is also on our team swim caps. Silicone team swim caps can be purchased for $10 from the Head Coach or any Board member at practice. Team swimsuits are intended for swimmers to wear at competitions, not during regular practice. If only worn for competition, and washed under recommended directions, team swim suits should last a long time. If your swimmer intends on competing in swim meets or is in a training group where it is required, it is highly recommended that they have the team swimsuit to wear at these competitions. We would like the team to represent the club in a unified and professional manner at all swim meets, team swim suits is one way we can accomplish this. Please keep in mind it could take a few weeks for swimsuits to arrive. Elsmore has a selection of practice suits available on their website and at their store locations for anyone interested in purchasing those.

The closest Elsmore Swim Shop is in Minnetonka. This location will have ARENA parkas, warm ups and swimsuits available for swimmers to try on. Once swimmers know sizing, you can then place an order online on the Team Store and pay shipping for orders under $69 OR pick up your order at the Minnetonka store when they arrive.
