Membership Requirement
USA Swimming and the Montana LSC (Local Swimming Committee) are the governing bodies for the Peak Waves Swim Team. Each team member is required to join USA/MT Swimming. USA swimming requires all swimmers, coaches, and officials from each organized swim team to be registered with USA Swimming to be considered a USA Swim Club thus allowing the team insurance coverage through USA Swimming.
The annual fee for this registration is $76.
It is in the best interest of your swimmer to register them annually if any of the following apply:
- Your swimmer plans on attending any meet higher than MT State Championships
- Your swimmer plans on swimming year round: Short Course (Sept-Mar) & Long Course (Apr-Aug)
- Your swimmer most likely will swim during Long Course as well, just not the entire time (ie- Camp during month of June, or a week off for vacation during July).
**Please note if your swimmer is planning on attending any meets above the level of the MT State Swim Meet, they are required to be registered with an Annual USA Registration or they will not be eligible to compete**
