GCY Makos are competing at VA Tech this weekend! Those that aren't traveling, we still have practice options for you! As many of you may know, Greensboro is hosting the National Championships for USA Swimming this coming week at the GAC. GCY's Heather Sigmon became the only 18-under swimmer from Greensboro to qualify for this event in a sizzling 55.58 seconds for a 100-yard backstroke, she is seeded 66th! NEW GCY HISTORY HAS BEEN MADE! At our national team's swim meet with STAR Aquatics last night, GCY's Heather Sigmon qualified for USA Swimmings National Championships in Greensboro, NC, Dec 3rd-6th! This is the highest level achievement besides USA Olympic Trials, and Heather is the first and only swimmer in our 45 year history to get to this level!
