They not only swam for their bragging rights, but also a great cause- our swimmers raised $200.00 for Manna House, in Newton! Thanks to everyone for your generosity, and to our swimmers for their efforts! Thank you to our swimmers for being so inspiring, to our parent timers,...

In what is one of the premier mid-season meets for the region’s finest swimmers, athletes from across New Jersey (and beyond) went head-to-head at Rutgers University for the Holiday Classic XXXV, hosted by Eastern Express. There were hundreds of swimmers from 28 different teams competing. Just qualifying for this meet (and getting in) is notable! Our 8 qualifying attendees had an amazing weekend. This crew represented our club well with all our swimmers making appearances in Finals, swimming a bunch of State times, a few Zones cuts, 31 Personal Best...
Our swimmers joined competitors from 6 other teams for the prelims/finals NYSA Holiday Classic in West Nyack over the weekend. It was a great meet for our Barracudas with many top places, personal bests, and more! Our swimmers swam with tenacity. Of our 169 splashes, 88 were Finals swims and 64 were Personal Bests! Despite stiff competition, we had a bunch of top places, including 18 First Places by Reese Berg (100 Breast, 100 Free, 200 Breast); Kayla Bhagaloo (200 Fly); Ty Hollar (100 Breast, 100 Fly, 100 Free, 200...
It was great to have some of our alumni come back to train with us and share some of their collegiate swimming experiences! Above: Syd Mills ( Frostburg State University), Matt Freund (Colgate University), Hannah Soutter (Husson University), and Erin McLean ( Colby-Sawyer College, not pictured).
It was a great weekend of swimming for our Barracudas at this season’s BB Thankful meet held at Raritan Valley Community College. Our 25 attending swimmers joined athletes from five other teams earning top places, a ton of personal bests, new team records, and more! Of our 93 splashes, about 70% were either Personal Bests or first-ever swims; very impressive for this point in the season! Some standouts were Carter Bambara’s 100 Back (-8.98); Ty Hollar’s 200 IM (-14.01) and 1000 Free (-4:44.39); Ryan Juckett’s 100 Fly (-8.93) and 200...
Swimmers from our Senior group showed off their artistic skills and Halloween spirit during practice. Interspersed among some sprint sets, our talented bunch broke off into teams to create their spooky masterpieces. Well done!
We started off our competition season by traveling out of our LSC for the 2022 Condors Fall Festival in West Nyack, NY over the weekend. There were a few hundred swimmers from the dozen teams competing, and we are very proud of our swimmers’ results! Of our 62 splashes, about 80% were either first-ever swims (16) or Personal Best Times (33)! Of those Personal Bests, some were quite notable like Julia Dutzi’s 50 Fly (-21.60); Ty Hollar’s 200 Back (-22.82) and 200 Breast (-15.48); Alex Johnson’s 100 Breast (-10.13); Connor...
Congratulations to Nathaniel Kern and Hannah Wilson on their making the New Jersey Swimming All-Stars Zone Team. This team was comprised of top swimmers from around our LSC. They joined 10 other LSC teams from around the Northeast at the Eastern Zones Long Course Age Group Championships (Zones) held at Ithaca College from 8/3-8/6. New Jersey Swimming took First Place, edging out Virginia Swimming 1095-1054. It was the first time they took the top spot in 25 years, and the first time ever earning over 1000 points! Nathaniel and Hannah...
Congratulations to our qualifiers for this summer’s NJ Swimming Junior Olympics, held at Rutgers University from 7/29-7/31. They had a great meet, earning Personal Best LC times, Top Places, and more. For their efforts, NJB came in 19th of the 40+ teams, despite having only 5 swimmers in attendance! Rylee Bambara had a great 200 Free scoring with a 15th Place finish, earning 2 points, and dropping -2.41 seconds. She also had great swims in her 100 Breast (-0.57), 100 Free, 200 IM, and 50 Free. Racking up some points...
