The Executive Board of the Armada Boosters Club is proud to announce that we will be awarding $15,000 in swimmer scholarships to selected Albany Armada Aquatics (Albany site) registered swimmers this year!

We will be offering two types of scholarships:
✅ Need-Based
✅ Merit-Based

Our goal is to support as many swimmers as possible. Award amounts will vary depending on the number of applications received. Swimmers who are eligible for both scholarships are welcome to apply to each one! 

Once award decisions are made, funds will be paid directly to the team and applied as a credit to your swimmer’s TeamUnify account. You will receive a notification before any credit is issued.

🟦 Need-Based Scholarships

Key Dates:

  • March 28: Applications open
     
  • April 18 (by midnight): Application deadline
     
  • April 25: Award decisions sent out
     
  • May 1: Team account credits applied (in time for May billing)
     

Requirements:

  • Submit the completed application
     
  • Upload a PDF copy of your 2023 tax return to help us determine eligibility
     
  • Only complete applications will be reviewed to ensure fairness for all applicants

🟨 Merit-Based Scholarships

Key Dates:

  • March 28: Applications open
     

  • April 18 (by midnight): Application deadline
     

  • May 3: Winners announced at the Armada Awards Banquet
     

  • May 12: Team account credits applied (in time for June billing)
