Hello Dolfins Families, I hope this message find you all well and staying active and healthy. The Dolfins Swim Team community has always been like a family or in marine terms, a pod. We lift each other up and inspire each other to “Have Fun! Swim Fast!” all summer long. It is because of this connection, that it makes this email that much more difficult to deliver, but here is it. Due to the most current Contra Costa Health Services (CCHS) continued shelter-in-place health orders that still dramatically limits pool...
Hello Dolfin Families! These are crazy times! I wish I was writing to you with a start date for swimming but unfortunately the Contra Costa County Health Order & CDC guidelines are still not allowing pools to open until Phase 3. Phase 3 could be coming soon, but we just don't know right now. I know a lot of you have seen and signed petitions to open pools and it definitely feels good to try to do whatever we can to help get our lives back to normal, but all...
Hello Dolfin Families! I was so looking forward to the excitement and positive energy that comes when parents and swimmers reunite on the pool deck at the start of the season! Unfortunately, at this time we don't have any guidelines on when and how we are able to open our facilities and programs. I have been attending Zoom meetings with other coaches in Contra Costa County as well as getting communications from USA swimming and we are all in the same holding pattern. Since we are a public agency, our...

We are currently required to keep all Rec & Park programs closed, and with the shelter in place being extended to May 1, we will not be able to start practices on April 13. We will wait until...

In the meantime, stay well and we look very forward to seeing you all on the pool deck as soon as we can. Sincerely, Amy Ross PHD Parent...
