Notice of Special SI House of Delegates (HOD) meeting
Special HOD meeting
There will be a very brief HOD meeting at the beginning of the next regularly scheduled board meeting. 7:00 PM - March 17 . This special meeting is to elect members of the nominating committee. This was supposed to occur at the November election and did not occur. Since there is no nominating committee to propose a slate for the future nominating committee, no such slate can be published, and we will accept nominations from the floor.
This is the only planned activity for the special HOD meeting, and should only take 10-15 minutes.
Forms for HOD member appointments are being sent to team contact persons. A
ll SI teams in good standing can appoint one athlete and one non-athlete member for voting priveleges at the special HOD meeting. (Athlete member must be at least 16 years old or be a sophomore or higher in high school.). Current SI board members also have a vote.
If you know of someone willing to serve as a member of the nominating committee. Please have your team appointed voting member nominate that person at this special election.
Zoom meeting information, along with the link to the form to appoint HOD voting members, will be sent to teams some time tonight (2/26/24).
