What a Weekend in Pleasanton! It was a beautiful weekend for a swim meet, and our very own mighty Millie Molten made the trip out to Far Westerns to represent our team—and she absolutely crushed it! Millie wasn’t alone, either. Teammates Maddie M. and Emily B. came along to cheer her on, hop in for warm-ups, and even joked with Coach Clinton that they could coach her—because they knew exactly what to do! Here’s how it all went down: Millie held steady on most of her times, but came...

What a wonderful weekend to have a swim meet although there was a brief moment of rain on Saturday. Otherwise it was super nice to have a meet and the nice weather really helped! There was 73 teams spanning from Montana, Oregon, Washington, Hawaii, Utah, New Mexico, Arizona, Nevada and California. With only 8 athletes we placed 57th which was not bad because compared to other teams we were consider small. Last year we only had 3 athletes who qualified for SWAGR but this year we had 7 qualifiers and...

The Winter Champs was the first cold and rainy meet for the kiddos! The biggest take away from the meet was that it is possible to swim well even though the conditions are not perfect along with being mentally tough throughout the weekend. For this meet we placed 8th out of 15 teams regardless of the size. We only had 13 swimmers who competed in the meet with individual events with 1 relay only swimmer making a total of 14 athletes total. We would have been considered small teams but...

OUR SWIMMERS OUTDID THEMSELVES AT THE WINTERFEST CHAMPIONSHIP MEET IN RENO!!! Making the trek out to Reno was totally worth all of the success everyone had! Not only did our athlete stand on business but we also got to see snow!!! A lot of teams from the area were surprised with how our athletes were so excited to see snow. Clearly snow is a novelty and we don't see it often yet alone at a swim meet! Here is how each swimmer did: Daniel Barrow-8.55 second drop in the 100IM,...

Last year the team brought about 20 athletes and this year we doubled that with 40 athletes! Several best times and finalists each day! Iit was also awesome to see teammates staying behind to count for our Distance Freestylers athletes and coming back for finals to cheer on their teammates. Love our team culture. The meet was a hot one in and out of the pool with temperatures hovering between 100-113 degrees each day. Regardless of the heat, the Waves came out in force at the Bill Rose Classic! Each...

Day 1 Today was a beautiful day for swimming and the Vaca Waves sure to advantage of the perfect weather. We were camped out in a sweet spot, thanks the Brady Family for bringing the team tent and hooking up the Coaches with a cool view of the pool. We started off with some big swims in the 400 IM by our Senior swimmers who led the way to some serious drops! Mind you some of the athletes just swam the 400 IM two weeks ago at the Napa Meet....
