Girls High School Championships Meet Recaps Each fall, Wave girls proudly suit up for their respective high school teams, competing through a season that builds toward three increasingly competitive championship meets: KingCo, Districts, and State. BISC Bob Miller Distance & Sprint Classic Meet Recap Wave Aquatics’ Select Team made the trip across Puget Sound to Bainbridge Island for an exciting two-day meet. MMSC NCSSL Championships Meet Recap Wave sent our two youngest groups to the final meet of the season…and they won the meet title for Wave with nothing more than 10&Unders and just two 11-year-olds! Western Zones Senior Zones Meet Recap Wave sent 18 swimmers to the Western Zone Senior Championships in Fresno, California, competing against athletes from 102 teams across the western US. With prelims at two sites and combined finals each night, Wave swimmers qualified for finals daily and earned new Spring and Summer Sectionals cuts. PNS 12&U Long Course Age Group Champs Meet Recap Wave’s top younger swimmers competed at the King County Aquatic Center in Federal Way near the end of last month, narrowly missing 3rd place by only 0.5!
