Club Transfers
Swimmers that have registered for another USA Swimming-sanctioned team in the past must submit a club transfer request through their USA Swimming account before joining DFAC.

- Most swimmers will attend a placement session
- Register with DFAC for the upcoming session

Unattached Period
After a club transfer request, swimmers' club status will appear as "unattached" for 60 days after the last meet they competed at while attached with another club. During this 60-day period, unattached swimmers will practice and attend meets with DFAC, but they are not permitted to compete on DFAC's relays or score points for the team.
