Congrats to all on a successful swim meet. The board would like to echo Tammy’s sentiments from earlier this week and send a massive THANK YOU to all our swimmers and parents. While there are opportunities for improvement, we received compliments on the facilities, the flow, the concessions and the friendliness of the team. We had many absences due to COVID and a lot of parents and older swimmers stepped up to fill open volunteer requirements. We could not have pulled it off without the extra help. Having a functioning 😊scoreboard will only help make our next meet a larger success and also help with some staging hiccups (Staging reminds me of having to keep the calm as you open the doors for Black Friday….having no scoreboard made it similar to having to keep the calm while no one had access to what time it was or knowledge when the doors would open).
SUMMER Session
Summer Session times have been finalized. The finance committee is now finalizing fees, we hope to have registration open for returning swimmers no later than next Friday, May 20th.
We do have room for NEW Dolphin/Sailfish! If you know anyone interested, please share New swimmer placement is scheduled for Tuesday, May 24th @ 6:00 pm. We are also working on a flyer you can share as well.
OFFICIALS
Wisconsin Swimming still is in desperate need of officials!!!
As a reminder, Up to four (4) parents who volunteer as officials will be credited $100 per session (spring/summer/fall/winter) along with a $75 credit upon completion of mentoring. Being an official will also fulfill volunteer requirements for a home meet.
Currently we do have one DFAC parent going through the training
