Thank you to all swimmers and volunteers for a successful summer solstice meet! Several pictures of the meet have been posted on the website and our facebook page including a nice group photo. Any awards not picked up during the meet have been placed in your family folder.
SAFE SPORT CLUB RECOGNITION
DFAC is working on receiving Safe Sport Club recognition. A recognized Safe Sport Club is one that demonstrates its commitment to creating a healthy and positive environment free from abuse for all of its members. An email went out to parents of swimmers ages 12 and up discussing training requirements earlier this week. Please have training completed by August 1st. SWIM CAP ORDER
Swim cap order is being picked up Tuesday next week. Caps will be placed in family folders on Thursday for those of you who ordered. Additional caps were ordered and can be purchased through the team at any time. Cost is $5 for latex and $11 for silicone.
REGIONALS
Regionals registration has opened. This year regionals is in Pleasant Prairie, WI. Registration deadline is 7/9/2022

COACHING
Sadly, we are losing Coach Megan as she will be relocating at the end of summer across the country. She will be greatly missed by the team and we wish her nothing but the best! Megan has been a great addition to DFAC family for the past 3 years. Her coaching will be sparse this summer as she has several travel plans but if you have the chance to see her please wish her the best of luck! We have started the process of recruiting for a new coach.
